I built this small mbira (also known as thumb piano) by using a small toy-saz my friend Emanuele brought me as a gift from Istanbul. The mini-saz was almost impossible to play and, when I finally got a "real" saz, I decided to give it a new life. I cut its neck and I managed to attach several metal tises.
