The hank drum is an instrument invented by Dannis Havlena. It was originally conceive to be an home-made alternative to the woderful hang drum. This is the third one I built, thanks my friend Luca that gave me three tanks. It took me some practice to understand how to handle the cuts to tune it properly.
The only mistake I made was to make only 6 notes... I think that 8 would have been better. I managed to attach some magnets to the notes to tune it in a custom way.
